Uprooted love

hazy eyelashes
that ruined someone..
stumbling again n again
before i run
away from myself..
letting her hair
steal through these fingers
would be a thirst
never quenched
hard to realise
if i am drenched
in the moisture
left behind by her lips..
cant wait
to be asked for
the last desire...
wearing this attire
of pretention
of hiding uncanny truths....
before feeling the softness
of her palms one last time
let me tell
just one more lie..
that knocks this heart
but leaves this voice drowned....
mere longings
with their own wrong ways
to count their days
in forgotten chapters...
i wonder if

that my eyes never lied.................

distant faces
estranged emotions
memories sailing into oblivion......
am shattered to pieces
but never healing wounds
still want me to live for someone.....
this was how i felt
an urge to live up to
my loved ones who have dwelt
like dew drops on these blades...

radiant, or in ashes..

and whenever these moist eyelashes
